Welcome to the Lazy Bear Lodge in Valle Crucis, a North Carolina bed and breakfast mountain retreat. The Lazy Bear Lodge overlooks historic Valle Crucis in the North Carolina High Country, minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone and Blowing Rock. The Lazy Bear Lodge Bed and Breakfast was built from the ground up with you in mind. The two-story log bed and breakfast has large comfortable porches, sweeping mountain views and plenty of privacy. Relax on the front porch with Bo while taking in the beautiful colors of the private garden area, soothing waterfall and large exotic fish swimming in the pond. Take in the splendor of mountain life from the deck with panoramic views of the mountains and valleys. The Lazy Bear Lodge has 5 private guest bedrooms, each with private bath and a fantastic view. Each bedroom is unique: roomy and furnished with hand-picked antiques or handmade furniture, comfortable seating, and gas-fired fireplaces or stoves. All of our rooms are large, luxurious, and private, each with it's own extraordinary bathroom. All bathrooms have either a jetted spa tub or claw foot tub, a separate shower, luxurious towels and butter-soft robes. Each is individual: some have window seats, and stained glass windows, and vanities made from antique furniture. You may choose between king or queen sized beds, and rooms with a window-view or private deck. Our dining room is located on the first floor of the lodge where breakfast is served daily.
